STACKED by Chels ("we", "us") is the data controller for personal information collected through this website. We are a small home bakery based at 5 The Orchard, East Challow, Wantage OX12 9SX.

What we collect: your name, email address, phone number, delivery/collection address and order details. Payment information is collected and processed directly by our payment provider (Stripe) — we never see or store your full card details.

Why we use it: to take and fulfil your order, send order confirmations and delivery updates, respond to enquiries, and (if you opt in) send occasional updates about new bakes and drops. Our lawful bases are contract (fulfilling your order) and consent (marketing).

How long we keep it: order records are kept for 6 years to meet UK accounting and tax obligations. Marketing contacts are kept until you unsubscribe.

Sharing: we share data only with the providers we need to run the bakery — payment processing (Stripe), email delivery, and tracked postage carriers. We never sell your data.

Your rights: under UK GDPR you can request access, correction, deletion, or a copy of the data we hold. Email Stackedbychels@gmail.com and we'll respond within 30 days. You also have the right to complain to the ICO (ico.org.uk).

Cookies: this site uses only essential cookies needed to run the cart and checkout. We do not use analytics or tracking cookies.

These terms apply to all orders placed with STACKED by Chels, a sole trader operating from 5 The Orchard, East Challow, Wantage OX12 9SX. By placing an order you agree to be bound by them.

Orders: a contract is formed when we send you an order confirmation email. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order (with a full refund) — for example if an item is out of stock, priced incorrectly, or we cannot meet the requested date.

Pricing and payment: all prices are in GBP and include VAT where applicable. Payment is taken in full at checkout via Stripe. A minimum order of 2 bakes applies to all delivery and collection orders.

Collection and delivery: Cake Shed and home-collection slots must be honoured on the chosen date — unclaimed orders cannot be refunded. Postage is sent via tracked courier; we are not liable for delays once the parcel has been dispatched.

Liability: nothing in these terms limits our liability for death, personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under English law. Otherwise our liability is limited to the value of your order.

Governing law: these terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
